TOWN BOARD FINANCES.

TO THE EDITOR

Sir,—l am rather amused at Mr Field's letter appearing in your last issue, It still goes to show that he does not know what he is talking about, or else he has lost all respect for the truth. lam sorry Mr Field cannot find any members to help him out of his fog, which he is clearly in, and I do not propose to help him at present. All I can say is— " Swim out ; you are in too deep."

I am, etc.,

James McLeod.
