TO THE EDITOR
Sir, —I notice an article in your paper of March 16th,, headed " Helensville Town Board —Financial Statement by the Chairman." The whole thing is so absurd that it is not worth my while to reply, further than to say that if so much illegal expenditure went on, why did he not, as the people's representative, start a prosecution against the late Board ? And, further, I challenge" him to start one, and show where the illegal. expenditure comes in. His statement re Sinking Fund shows he does VJJjk understand what he is talking abeS* and I do not intend to enlighten him«vI am, etc., ' i : .
