THE "ROOSTERS"
Two matches were played last week. The holders, Messrs Ellett and Hafford, defeated Messrs Cullens and Walters by 22 to 12. They subsequently lowered their colours to Messrs Harris and Screaton, by 36 to 10. Mr Hill and partner are the next challengers. AN INVITATION , An invitation for a couple of b ours has been received from Kocky Nook Bowling Club for next Saturday.. A few have already expressed their desire to go, and it is almost certain that two teams can make the trip. AN appeal An appeal to bowlers to assist ~ the Auckland Provincial AsfcoT plane Fund has been mjade fom* becretary, who will be rpleißd to collect contributions. •
