THE "ROOSTERS"

Messrs Ellett and Hafford met and defeated the "holders," Messrs Smith and Bishop last Saturday by 26 to 9. The winners are to meet Messrs Cullens and Walters in the next match. PROGRESSIVE PAIRS For the first time the Club held a Progressive Pairs Tournament last Saturday afternoon, when 12 players took part. Mr Harris won the " skip's " prize, and the "leader's" trophy went to Mr Bishop. Eesults are: — Skip, won lost Leader won lost Harris 4 1 Bishop 5 0 Graham 3 2 Walters 4 1 Hilll 3 % Hutchison 4 1 Green 2 3 Aitkenhead 3 2 Ellett 1 4 Stringer 1 4 Cullens 1 4 Hafford 1 4 Quite a pleasant afternoon was spent, and it is likely that another such popular event will take place later on.
