FRENCH RED CROSS DAY
FRIDAY, February 25th., is French Tricolor Day, organised by the Patriotic Societies of Auckland in aid of the French Red Cross. A. charity fete w ill be held in Queen Street, Newmarket, Karangahape Road. Grafton Bridge and elsewhere, and at the numerous French stalls every Gallic delight will be obtainable. The Victoria Arcade will be be transformed into a " Laterie Francaise," which will conform to the Parisian pavement cafe idea—without the wine. At the English and Foreign Piano Company's premises there is to be an especially fine artistic entertainment provided by artists from the Quartier Latin and by Mdlle. Ementine de la
