A GOLF YARN
The weli-kno^n golfer, Mr Harold Hilton, tells a story of a Scotch caddie who always wore a " deerstalker" cap -with, the flap tied tightly down over his ears.
On« day somebody noticed that the flaps Wy'ere up, and naturally asked the reason for the change. <( I dinna had them doon singe ma' accident-;" replied the caddie. •' Accident •" exclaimed the golfer; " ivHat accident? I haven't heard about it."
_',' Ah, well,'; the caddie explained, "ye .see, a gentleman offered me a drihic oot o* his whisicy f}as.K, an 1 dinua hear hih+. "
