CARE OF OUR WOUNDED.
THE Hon. G. W. Russell's idea of getting Auckland to help Helensville Domain Board in the matter of sharing: some of its funds to make a convalescent station at Hot Springs for our wounded soldiers, is meeting with vehement opposition from the Mayor of Auckland,.notwithstanding the fact tha,t thousands of pounds are being sent from the -country districts to the Auckland fund.— Selfishness again.
