HELENSVILLE TENNIS CLUB
THE annual meeting.of the above Club took place in the Star " Theatre on October 14th, a fair *^': number being present.
The balance-sheet for the previous year showed a debitr balance of £64 13s sd, which was considered very satisfactory. It was resolved to raise • the .^ subscription this year to gents • 255, ladies 12s 6d, and arrange with Mr Kopmeier to look after the courts for the season.
The officers of the Club are: President: J. A. Wilson, Esq.; Vice-presidents: Mr A. Bishop, Mr J. Stewart, and Capt. Sellars ; Committee: Messrs W. Sandin, G. Murphy, P. Rose, C. Sandin, McKinnon, A. J. Hill, and Capt Sellars ; Secretary, Mr Wilfred Allen ; Club Captain, Mr C. Sandm, Vice-captain, Mr G. Murphy; Auditor, Mr Stringer. The opening was arranged for Labour Day as before (visitors invited to attend)' * The Club having at present one court to spare, are thinking of forming a Juvenile Club to consist of about 12 members (boys and girls) first year players up to , 18 years old, the subscription being 7s 6d per season ; anyone ' wishing to join to hand in their names to the Secretary.
