THE KAIPARA AND WAITEMATA ECHO With which is incorporated "The Kaipara Advertiser & Waitemata Chronicle." Helensville, Thursday. Oct. 21, 1915. ANOTHER CHANCE TO HELP TWO MILLION WAR LOAN A SAFE INVESTMENT
There are many and devious ways of assisting the war times with all its appalling requirements, and though contributions in cash and goods have been lavish up to the present, the Government of New Zealand, rather than worry the London money market or the Imperial authorities for the loan of two. million of money for Public Works expenditure, is now calling upon those having large or small savings to invest therefrom sums of £5 up to <£1000 and over, bearing a currency of 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 years at the liberal interest of 4J per cent. The terms are liberal, and more than the interest allowed at the Post Office Savings Bank. Moreover, the principal and interest is guaranteed by the State, and escapes the Income Tax. Further particulars may be obtained by a careful perusal of the advertisement appearing in another column. Investors by stretching a point are helping the Dominion In time of need; helping to keep the Public Works of the Dominion going on as usual, doing a patriotic action, in fact, outride of " giving away for ever. 5' The Echo feels certain there will be a ready response, and predicts the two million debentures will
be over-subscribed
