French Advance — Success in Champagne — Greek Cabinet Resigns — Allies at War with Bulgaria
The French have captured Tabure, a village of 200 inhabitants in the Champagne. This point is north of PertheslesHurlus, and about the centre of the front over.which the French haye been advancing. They have also captured a supporting point in the enemy's second litie.
i. Bulgaria has returned an unsatfri&ctory reply to the Russian ultifnatum requiring her to break witfc'Germany and Austria within 24 hours, and diplomatic relations have broken off. The Russian, British, French, Italian and Servian Ministers at Sofia have requested their passports. In consequence of the King of Greece declaring that he could no,t further co-operative with M. Venizelos, the Premier, M. Venizolos and his Cabinet have resigned.
The French troops which landed at Salonika have left for Servia. They received an ova-, tion from the people of Salonika. Roumania shows military activity, and is sending troops to the Bulgarian frontier.
A German newspaper states that the real object of Germany's attack is Egypt.
