HELENSVILLE GOLF CLUB
A Ladies' Medal Handicap for silver button, presented by Dr. Phippen, will be played next Saturday, 25th inst. On Saturday, 2nd October, there will be a Gents' Bogey Handicap, for trophy donated by Mr J, A. Wilson. Match play ; players choose partners. Results of Ist round Gents' Championship are : — Fenner beat Osmond. Mascall beat Hill, 1 up at 20. McKinnon b Screaton, 2 up & 1 McLeod b Master Eam'es, 2 up. Peacock b Phippen, 2 up and 1, Second round closes October 4. Third do „ October 31. Some six or eight members of the Waitemata. Gqlf Club intend paying our Club a visit next Saturday, Probably a match will be arranged for Monday, 27th inst (Dominion Day), the visitors returning tq the city on Tuesday morning,
