forcing—Enemy Submarine Sunk — The Armenian Murders,
A correspondent who escaped from Vilna, states that the Russian army which was in that city has, by rear-guard fighting, made good its position.
Athens reports state that the Turks are sending mgent reinforcements to Gallipoli.
An enemy submarine has, been sunk in the Black Sea by the Russians.
The allies destroyed near Damport, works prepared for the installation of heayy long-range guns, with which the enemy had hoped to bombard Nancy and Luneville. French batteries shot to fragments the loch of the Marne-Aisne Canal, north-west of Rheims.
Viscount Bryce in his appeal to America for assistance in stopping the Armenian atrocities, quotes the Italian Consul as saying that half a million Armenians have been slaughtered. In one case 10,000 men, women and children were thrown into the sea.
