Italians have gained a further success in the Val Sugana by the capture of the summit of Mount Cista, 8000 ft high. It is reported from Milan that the Austrians are retreating upon the nearest defences of Trent. The Austrians are also retreating in the Upper Isonzo Valley.

The Russians are still retreating north-eastward and eastward of Brest Litovsk.
