Russia's Firm Stand — Holding Ground in Poland — Italians on Qorz — American Warning to Germany

Reports from the eastern theatre indicate that the Russians are making a determined .stand on the Narew front, north of Poland, and on the Lublin front to the south. It is reported from Petrograd that the enemy's offensive in the direction of Lublin has been checked. An pl^rian communique states that tsve'Russians are making a new stand south of the LublinIvangorod railway.
