DEFENCE NOTES
HELENSVILLE PLATOON

The Helensville Platoon will hold the usual parades on Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon.
Capt. Turley and Sergt,-Major Balthorp leave for Whangarei on Friday, where they will be on duty for the next fortnight. * * * Lieutenant White 15th (N.A.) Regiment leaves for Trentham on Friday evening, preparatory to joining the next Reinforcement for the front.
During the absence of Captaifr Turley and Sergt-Major Balthdrp persons wishing to recruit for the Expeditionary Forces may do so by applying to Q.M.Sergt, Fosbroke, next Defence office, Helensville North.
