BELGIAN RELIEF FUND.
ANOTHER HELENSVILLE SUCCESS
On Saturday last, a street on behalf of the above fund, was made by the following young ladies, viz., Misses C. Becroft, J. Caundle, L. Thompson, H. and M. Brown, B. and M. Mitchell, and K. Turner, and Master Jack Jago, when, in spite of the very wet weather, they were able to cajole out of the " Public Pocket" no less a sum than £20 4s Od, Every credit is due to these young ladies and the lad, who stuck loyally to their charge.
The following amounts have also been scoured by Mr. H. W. Stringer :—Messrs, J. A. Wilson, £5; F. Mackenzie (EcHQ), £2 2s; A. Bishop, £1 Is; T. Buckland, £1 Is; G. Murphy, £1 Is : Mrs. McEwiu £1 Is; Capt. Sellars, £1 Is ; collected by Capt. Sellars £113s $d ; E, T, Field, £1 Is F. Hiatt, 10s • and sale of calf (donated by Mr. Nicholls), per Auckland Farmers' Union, £1; making a sum of £16 11s 6d The total amount (£36 15s 6d), has been duly forwarded to Mr. R. Burns.
