HELENSVILLE SCHOOL COMMITTEE

HOUSEHOLDERS' MEETING

THE annual meeting of householders took place at the Helensville School on Wednesday, 28th inst., in accordance with advertisement, when there was a good attendance. Mr E. T. Field was in the chair. After the annual report and balance sheet were read, and favourably received. [This will be published in our next issue] the election of nine householders (increased owing to the greater attendance of pupils), was proceeded with, and resulted as follows:

Elected—Messrs F. R. Eames 14, E. T. Field 13, A. M. Hammond 12, R. Smith 12, W. W. Bradly 12, A, Becroft 11, L. L' Bailey 9, H. L. Thompson 9, J. Constable 8.

Mr Becroft was afterwards elected as chairman to the new committee, and Mr Eames, secretary.
