The 200 pullets penned realised from 3s to 4s 7d. Pigs, 5/6 to 9/. FARM PRODUCE Potatoes, prime, 6/10 to 7s, good 6s to 6s 3d, poor 3s to 4s; onions, 6s to 7s 6d ; picklers 7/ to 8s ; pumpkins 5/6 to 7s ; swedes, £2 to £2 10s; kumaras, 7s to 9s ; citron melons £4 10s to £6. Vegetables are scarce. DAIRY PRODUCE Eggs fresh 1/8 to 1/10, butter 9d to lOJ^d, bacon 9d to lOd, cheese 7d to Bd, honey 3s to ss, bulk honey 3d to 3J^d FRUIT Apples, dessert 5/6 to 7s, good 5s to to 5/3, cookers 4s to 5/6; plums, 4s; passion fruit, 1/9 to 2s 9d; peaches, good 3s to 3/3, others 1/3 to Is 6d; grapes, 3s to 4/6 ; pears, Bon Cretion, 6s to 5s 6d, cookers 3s to 4s ; tomatoes, -Is Id to 2s 3d; lemons, choice 8/ to 10/6. GRAIN Wheat, 6/9 to 8s; oats, 5/2, seed Algerian, 7/6; bran, £3 10s; sharps £9 10s ; barley 6s 3d; chaff, local £8 to £8 lOd at station.
