TIPPERARY NIGHT

A SPECIAL picture show was given in the Helensville Theatre on Tuesdaynight, the principal feature being " Tipperary," founded upon the Army's marching song, and -depicting various manoeuvres of the recruits (Uuionists and Nationalists, of Ireland). Miss Maud Rimmer played appropriate Irish airs, while the children in the front seats gave us "Tipperary" and enough to last a month or two. The new theatre, which was crowded to the doors, is receiving its finishing touches daily; the beautiful rimu match-lining throughout is now being oiled, and the concrete walls have just been plastered in readiness for a coating of terra-cotta paint.
