HELENSVILLE BRANCH A. S. R. S. SOCIETY
A MEETING Qf the above Society was held in the Guard Room at Helensville on February Bth inst., when Mr G. Campbell presided over a good number of members. A considerable amount of business was gone through, including a circular from Palmerston North, re increased cost qf food stuffs, which was discussed and approved of. The annual election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows :— Chairman. Mr G. Campbell; vicechairman, Mr li. Thompson ; secretary. Mr A. M. Hamond; treasurer, Mr T, H, Gallagher ; trustees, Messr-s A. Nuttall, T. Knox, and W, Cox ; oommittee, Messrs H. Thompson, D. Forsyth, T. Finlay, Rogers, D. O'Neill, T. Callagher ; auditors, Messrs A. Nuttall and R. Smith ; collectors, Messrs R. Smith and O'Neill.
