WELCOME TO NEW PARSON
ON Friday evening, 12th inst., a social was held at the Presbyterian Church, Helensville, to welcome the new minister Mr Hodgson. Mr Jas. Stewart, who took the chair, extended a welcome to Mr Hodson and his Avife. Mr J. A Wilson also spoke a few encouraging words. Mr Hodson returned thanks in a neat little speech, and later on singing, tea, and sweets occupied the rest of the evening, the ladies supplying the refreshments.
