HELENSVILLE SPORTS CLUB
A COMMITTEE meeting of the above was held in the Library on Monday evening last, when there was a good attendance. Mr Tui McEwin occupied the chair. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. ..^Correspondence Avas read from J. J, Mulvihill, organiser of the N. 3. Athletic Union, re programme and guarantee of winners. From A. P. Wooley, secretary of the Northern Athletic Union, re application to affiliate with his Union.—lt was decided to adhere to the N.Z Union as heretofore. It was also agreed to get members' tickets printed to admit to ground and dance in evening, at 5s each. —Carried. Mr Reyland offered to attend to the taking of the money at the dance in the evening gratis—rMr Reyland was thanked for his kind offer which was accepted. Re the grounds—lt was decided to write to the Show Secretary, asking for a reduction in the rent for the day, as the Club's finances were low. This was all tho business.
