HELENSVILLE ATHLETIC SPORTS CLUB

GENERAL MEETING

A MEETING of the above Club was held in tne Public Library on Monday .evening last. Mr Tui McEwin occupied the chair, and a representative number were present. A discussion took place as to which Union (the N.Z. or the. Northern) the present Club should join, and ultimately it was resolved —That this Club abide by the rules of the N.Z. and Cycle Union.—Carried. The following officers were elected for the ensuing, year : — Patrons: J. G. Coates Esq., M.P., and Jas. McLeod, Esq. President: E. H. Cucksey Esq. Vice-Presidents: Messrs Tui McEwin, A. Bishop, Jas. Hand, W. Ellett, W. Rimmer, W. Reyland, C. H. Spinley, H. Aitkenhead, R. Nicholl, Jas. Stewart, H. Coulter, Dr. Meinhold, J. A. Wilson, M. H. Sheffield. W. H. , Stringer, R. Screaton, F. Mac-' kenzie senr., H. Anderson, G. Sellars, H. Graham, and G. Murphy. j Committee: Messrs J. Constable, W. Reyland, Tui McEwin, E. H. Cucksey, J. Downer, J. C. Taylor, J. McAdam, and Frs. Mackenzie. A substantial programme of ten events was adopted, and it was decided to hold the Sports on Easter Monday, April 5.
