THE METHODIST CHURCH QUARTERLY MEETING

The quarterly meeting of the Methodist Church was held in the Church at Helensville on Tuesday, January 5, at 7. 30 pm. Mr J. A. Lamond, Home Mission Minister, presided, and there were eight office-bearers present. The membership t of the Church iv the Helensville station was reported at 50. The income for the quarter ending December 31, 1914, was £57 18s lOd. A. debit balance of £9 17s lid was carried forward from the September quarter, and the present deficit is £12 ,9 S lid. During the quarter £8 13s Id was paid to H.M. Fund ; £7 7s 4d to Belgian Relief Fund; and £2 6s 6d to the Auckland Orphanage Home. Mr R, Pengelly was re-elected circuit steward for the 15th year; and Mr Leach was also electe<K^_ a circuit stewart. A notice of motion was given for March quarterly meeting s? dealing with Church matters at Helens- ' S ville. The Chairman of the Auckland il District will preside. I
