The Russian pressure on the Austrian forces in Bukovino continues. Many, soldiers and refugees have been'driven across the Roumanian border and interned. Other refugees are flocking through Hungary to Vienna. Thousands of them are on the verge of starvation.._ The struggle for positions is being maintained all along the battle front in France. The Germans have again bombarded the positions north-east of Soisson recently captured by the allies. Later they made an important attack, the result of which is not known. Further north the allies are virtually in possession of Lille.
