DEFENCE NOTICES

The members of the Helensville Platoon of the Kaipara B^ifle Club will parade at 2.30 p.m. o n Saturday next, for the purpose of proceeding to the Rifle Range for class-firing. All members must attend. Captain Linley will be range finder. A fresh draft of Territorials is being sent on the 16th inst to Awanui $Torth, to relieve the present guard. Owing to the new organisation the Defence Department have found it necessary .to go into larger premises, and are now occupying Mr J. A. Beale's office at Helensville North, which has been altered to suit requirements. Names are now being taken for the Fourth Reinforcement Expeditionary Force. Territoriaals should apply through'their Company or Squadron Commander ; other volunteers direct to Captain Linley, Defence Office, Helensville.
