,*-*-■„.. The battle in Belgian is still in progress, but to-day's cables indicate that the fighting is being continued with less violence. The Germans are reported to 'be strengthening their lines towards Soissons, on the Aisne. The Russian Black Sea Fleet, returning from a cruise, met the two Turko - German cruisers, and Breslau, and attacked them. The Breslau escaped, but the Goeben engaged the Russians A bombardment followed, and the Russians report that the Goeben, t presently drew off and disred in the mist. The "al Russian ship engaged ad some sixty casualties. The Financial News states that Great Britain's huge war loan of £350,000,000, which was placed on the market on November 17, has been over-subscribed.
