[own correspondent] The Opposition candidate for Kaipara, Mr R. Hoe, addressed a meeting of electors in the Hall on the 13th inst. There was a fairly good attendance. Mr Hoe spoke for two hours, and his speech was. followed with keen attention and interest, At the conclusion a number of questions were asked and answered satisfactorily. A vote of thanks to and confidence in Mr Hoe was carried by acclamation. It is understood that Mr Coates, A present Member, will give an addr ess in the Hall on Saturday, inst.
