KAIPARA RUGBY UNION
A meeting of the committee of the Kaipara Rugby Union was held in the Library on Monday, July 20.
Present: Messrs T. McEwin (chair), Cucksey, Lambert, Rogers, Constable, and White (secretary).
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
A vote of thanks was passed to Mr Jas; Downer for refereeing on Saturday, July 18.—Carried.
It was resolved that an A and B match be played on Saturday, July 25, at 2.15 p.m., and that the selector be asked to pick the teams.—Carried.
Mr T. Taylor was appointed referee.
Resolved that the Secretary wire to Otamatea Rugby Uuion, accepting 22hd August for return match to be played at Helensville, providing that date does not interfere with Harding Shield fixtures.
It was further resolved to ask the Northern W airoa Rugby Union to- send the Junior reps, on August 1 if possible
