MARMALADE CUSTARD PUDDING.

Take one teacupful "of sifted bread crumbs, one and a half cups of milk, one tablespoonful of sugar, and a teacupful of marmalade ; also two eggs and two teaspoonfuls of butter. Beat the butter and sugar together, then add the beaten *gg yolk, the milk, and the bread crumbs, lastly the whites of the eggs, beaten to a st.ift' froth. Put a layer of this mixture in a well-buttered dish spread it with marmalade, then another layer of mixture, and so on till the dish is full. The last layer must be of the custard. Bake in a moderate oven.
