MEETING KAIPARA RUGBY UNION
A meeting of the Kaipara Rugby Union was held on the evening of the 25th inst., at the Helensville Public Library.
Present: Messrs T. McEwen (chairman), Jowett, Lambert Jr., J. Constable, Cucksey, and White (secretary). Several Club delegates were, also present. The Club boundaries were agreed upon as follows : Helensville.—The town district ; also ground bounded by the Mangakura Creek, from Ohirangi Station to top road round the Horse Shoe, and back road to Kaukapakapa bridge at Pukanui.
Waimauku—FromHelensville|boundary and including Bell's farm on the North, as a division between "suburbs" and Waimauku, to Southern boundary of Brigham's Creek, to Taupaki to coast on the West.
Suburbs. —A line drawn directly West from railway at Ohirangi as the Southern boundary, to South Head on the North west; also old Kaukapakapa boundary, coming as far South on the Eastern side of Helensville boundary as Bell's farm.but not inclusive.
A new club wh?ch adopted the name of '' The Suburbs," composed of players from Parakai and Kaukapakapa, was formed and a number of members of the new Club were registered. The following resolutions were passed :
That the winning team in the competition be presented with caps.
That the next match be Helensville v The Suburbs, on Saturday, the 30th inst.
As the Chairman contemplates taking a holiday, Mr Cucksey was appointed Deputy Chairman. The meeting terminated with the usual financial business.
