HELENSVILLE CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING

About thirty members attended the annual meeting of Helensville Club, which was held in the Library, Mr A. Garry presiding.

The report showed that a successful year wasexperienced, the finances showing a credit balance of £2, which was due to the energetic work of the secretary, Mr A. Hunter.

Votes of thanks were accorded the chairman, Mr A. Garrysecretary, Mr A. Hunter; and Mr Tui McEwin.

For the ensuing year the following officers were appointed: President, Mr E. S. Masters ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs J. A. Wilson, E. H. Cucksey, Tui McEwin, A. Bishop, A. Burt, R. Screaton, G. Willis and J. Stewart; chairman of committee, Mr Tui McEwin ; secretary, Mr A. Hunter; delegates to Union, Messrs Tui. McEwin and E. H. Cucksey.

It was decided to appoint a sole selector for the selecting of teams. The Secretary reported that footballs had been donated by Messrs Tui McEwin, A. Garry, W. Sandin and C. White.

The opening of the season was fixed for' April 23rd

It was decided to form a junior team for the ensuing season.
