EXTERNAL APPLICATION FOR SORE THROAT.
| Dissolve two and a quarter ozs. of camphor and a drachm of oil ] of lavender in 17 fluid ozs. of rectified spirits of wine, then.' add three ozs. of strong solution of ammonia. Put all the ingredients into a bot- i tie, and shake it until they are j thoroughly mixed. To be used ex- i ternally only. Good for rheuma- ' tism also. Rub well in when you apply the liniment. ■
