At Westfield Yards on Wednesday fat stock was yarded in full numbers, of excellent quality, and prices were scarcely on a par with late sales, although quotations are ths same, best oxen selling to 30s per 1001b, others, 25s to 39s ; cows and heifers, 24s to 225. Steers sold atL7 10s to £12 15s ; cows and heifers, L 5 to L9ss ; a draft of 34 steers, small but well fatted, from Mr F. Manning, Monmoukai, averaged LlO 19s 3d. Veal calves were penned in full numbers, and sold at lower rates. Heavyweight sold at from L 3 15s to L 4 10s : mediumweight vealers, L 2 2s to L 3 3s ; lighter, 30s to L 2 ; others, 15s to 25s ; small and fresh dropped, 3s to 12s. Sheep were yarded in extra large numbers, and mostly of extra good quality, and declined in prices from Is to 2s per head. Best wethers sold at from LI 0s 3d to LI 3s 9d ; others, 15s Od to LI ; ewes, extra heavy, 19s 6d to LI Is 3d : others, 13s6dto 19s 3d ;' a draft of 120 ewes averaged L] 0s 3d. Lambs in full supplysold at late rates. Baconers, L 3 3s to L 3 15s ; large porkers, L 2 15s to L 3 ; porkers, LI 15s to L 2 14s ; slips, 20s to LI 10s ; weaners, 10? each.
