Mr B. Hoe now definitely announced tl c Ka^ta m* b°Ur candWate for tne Jiaipa^-a Electorate at the forthcoming election, delivered his first address (says our correspondent), to farmers in Cliff's Hall, Paparoa, on inursday, February, 19th. Mr E W - Stephenson presided and suitably in- ' troauced, the speaker, who was patiently listened to throughout [Owing to no previous arrangement having been made for our space, or provisions made for extra compositorial work, we are unable to publish the three column report sent in, suffice to say that in Mr Hoe the electors have I Wardite to the back-bone.— Editor ] Replying to enquiry on the important question of a State Bank, the speaker said he would favour the increase of the interest of the present shareholders so Key.
