GOING SOUTH FOR LUCK.
The many friends of Mr H. H. Meredith, now of Palmerston North, will be pleased to learn of his good fortune. About twelve months ago the Government purchased his father's run 0f'3,687 acres, and took possession at the end of the present month. Mr Meredith desirious of seeing his sons well settled, has already bought two farms, one of 500 acres situated at Morven, S. Canterbury, and one of 360 acres part of the Waikakahi Estate, which the Government bought Some 12 years ago. This farm he is handing over to Mr H. H. Meredith, who will take possession on 15th May. The 'land is agricultural and pastoral, carrying capacity 4 sheep to the acres and will yield 50 bushels of wheat and 70 bushels of oats to the acre, well watered and subdivided, fine large garden and orchard,
j* and the house of eight rooms, which will afford shelter to any of Mr and Mrs Merediths' many Helensville friends, who care to partake of the kind hospitality that will be extended to them should they come South. " Glengyle " Waikakahi, will always find them.
