A Scotchman had contracted a debt. When it became due he had no means with which to meet it. He worried a great deal, but no feasible plan of raising money to meet the obligation presented itself. ■ At last he decided thai he would get a pistol, go out on the highway, hold up the first traveller that came along, take his money from him, and with it pays his debts.
