School Committee Meeting.

At last school committee meeting a letter from the Education Board stated that tenders had been cal]ed for the enlargement of the school, and ths work would shortly be proceeded with. The kendmast:er'3 report of the school picnic showed a credit balance which was vote'l to the school prize fund. A report was leceived dealing with the question of alteration of school hours during the summer montns, so as to get the school day over earlier, but no action was taken. The appointment of Mi s E. M. Downs as first ye*r probationer was notified. The headmaster's report snowed that the roll number was increasing, the number of pupils now being 220.
