Market Produce.
Mr J. Jones, Auctioneer, Victoria and Lome Streets, Auckland, Reports: — Poultry came forward in very heavy supply, and prices were about the same as they have been for the last few weeks. A large quantity cf young cookrells are being sent in which meet with slow competition. Good hens in better demand though a large quantity of poor hens are arriving. Fruit is in better demand with increased supplies. Tomatoes are ruling high. Potatoes are still coming- forward in very large quantities, unless of good quality are unsaleable. We would advise clients not to send inferior potatoes as the returns would not be satisfactory. Pigs are wanted.
