HELENSVILLE SHOW.
TO THE EDITOK
Sir, —In connection with the recent Show it has come to my notice that some people are under the impression that Mrs A. J. Beck was the Judge of Needlework classes, in which Mrs Beck and her daughters had entries. I'beg to state that such was not the case. The Judge for Needlework classes was Mds R. J. Eames, of Pukekohe. Th 9 name of Mrs Beck appeared over the Needle work section as Judge, because the catalogue had gone to the printer for publication before Mrs Eaineshad consented to take the position. Mrs Beck's entries weie made prior to her appointment as Judge, and it was in accordance with her wish that another Judge was secured to fill the position. All the
needle work exhibited was Judged by Mrs Eames, who duly made the awards as published. Thanking you for space for the above explanation. —lam etc.
