Mr R. Hoe, of Woodhill, is spoken of as a probable candidate in the Liberal interest for Kaipara district at next geneial election. At a meeting of the Liberal branch League, held last evening, at KMensville, Mr Hoe was accepted as their candidate XXX It is reported that Pastor Clark will probably be the Relorm party's norn inee for the Ohinemuri seat at the general election. A meeting of vhe Liberal party, asked Mr Robert McNab (formerly member for Mutura) to oontest that seat again. Mr McNab promised tc announce his intention within, one mouth. XXX Rumour is pi'evalent, says the Otaki Mail, that Mr J Robertson, M.P for Otaki, wjll contest the AVaikato seat in the Labour interests at the next election.
