Western Wolths Grass.
Since its introduction into New Zealahd a year or two ago the variety of rye grass known as Western Wolths has received considerable attention. The results shown on small plots which have been cultivated in different centres all go to sustain its high reputation as a fodder plan:-,, A contributor to the Manawatu Standard gives the following particulars of the experience of band on growers where this grass has been sown fairly extensively dming ihe past year.. The writer states thf.t numerous enquiries are being made both by dairy men and sheep farmers as to its general qualities and the mode of cultivation adopted, and it is evident that it will be largely utilised for winter feed for sheop and cattle.
