The organiser for the Reform Party, Mr A. A. Paape, has just returned to Wellington after a tour which included the Auckland Province. He attended many meetings of the Reform League branches in the North Island and the goldfields districts, and lie' also attended several summer shows. He reports that the prospects of the Reform Party have never looked brighter. Many people who have hitherto always opposed the Massey Government are now with the Reform Party, and the supporters of the Government, he says, are enthusiastic as to the prospects at next election. Mr Paape leaves Wellington to hold meetings at Taumarunui on Thursday, and at Te Kuiti on Friday.
