At Westfield Yards on Wednesday, fat stock came forward in more than average numbers, and the yarding was of excellent quality. Prices were not quite as high as the previous weekf best oxen selling to Sis, others 29s to 30s, cows and heifers L 4 10s to L 9 10s. Calves came forward in larger numbers than usual, and sold a shade easier. No heavy weights yarded. Medium weights L 2 10s to L 3 os, others, Ll 10s toL2 7s, smaller 20s to 295, small and fresh dropped 3s to 17s. Sheep were penned in scarcely average numbers, and advanced in prices from two to three shillings per head. Wethers in wool sold at from Li 3s. Gd to Li 8s 9d ; shorn wethers, best, Ll to Ll 4s 9d ; others, 15s 9d to 19s 9d : ewes, best, Ll Is to Ll 4s 3d ; others, 16s to Id 0s 3d ; hoggets, shorn, 17s 6d to 19s 9d, Lambs yarded in full 'numhers, and sold at last week's prices. Best quality 19s 9d to Ll 2s 6d; others lis to 19s, store lambs, 5s 9d to 10s. Pigs were yarded in more than tisual numbers, and sold at fully last week's rates. Baconers sold at from L 3 to L 3 14s ; large porkers L 2 os to L' 2 18s, porkers Ll 10s to L 2 2s, slips 24s to 28s 6d, weaneib 16s to 225.
