The death of Mrs Hoana Te Waaka, a daughter of Te Waaka, chief of the -Ngatiwhatua tribe, took place at Rewiti on Tuesday owing to heart failure. She had been living at Waitakeri for some time past, but is-well-known / throughout a wide district. But for the prevailing epidemic a big tangi would have been held. A smart arrest was effected on Tuesday by Constable Driscoll.
