"Princess of Poppyland"

The above operetta, which is now under rehoarsal, and is to be staged on Tuesday, September 23. promises to be of a decidedly interesting nature, The members of the Glee Club who are responsible for its production total about 40, and they will-;be assisted by a number of girls who take part as flower girls, gipsies, etc. The music throughout is very tuneful and winsome, being of a bright and sparkling character, alternating with the theme to mournful and impressive lendition as the story is unfolded. There is good scope in the dialogue for demonstration of diarnatic power, and some of the principals fill their parts in the caste with great credit. The rehearsals are being carried out with enthusiasm, and the result will doubtless be a highly successful prosentatiou of King Proctor's pretty operetta.
