The Water Supply.

TO THE EDITOR.

Sir. —It seems to me that the water supply and drainage scheme has been a regular mess right through by somebody's fault. Why couldn't Paddy Hand's land for pipe track be bought or arbitrated on like the other land was done ? What has the Engineer been doing all this time and now finds he wants albtmoie money to finish the job. For my part I say get a new engineer, and one who would give more supervision to the works. I should like to know on Friday night what has caused the Rip Van Winkle sort of a mix up on our water supply scheme. I am, etc., ' . '• DISGUSTED."
