Wide World Pictures.

Picture patrons will be pleased to hear that the report as to Mr Williams' intention to withdraw Helensville from his picture circuit is not correct. The pictures will continue to be shown in the Foresters' Hall on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, and will be of the usual good quality.

To-night's programme will demonstrate once more that the "Wide World Pictures are as good as the best that any management can produce in Australasia. " Alone in New York " which takes rank as one of the leading dramatic creations, will be prominently featured, and in which a love romance is interwoven throughout a series of exciting situations. '• Man and. Mammon " is another dramatic film of exceptional meiit, and " The Half Breed Scout " is one of the wild west pictures which are now so firmly established in the favour of the picture lovers. The comedies are especially good and include " Petticoat Camp." " Over the Phone,, and " Saving an Audience." The Pathe Gazette and " Burning of Match Factory " will contribute the topical part of the programme. " The French Artillery " will show some very fine military monoeuvres, the horses having been trained to a remarkable degree' All the other films are up to the usual Wide World Picture standard, which means that they are perfection, and it is easy enough to predict that the public has a huge treat in store.
