A match was played on Saturday between tennis representing Helensville and To Pita schools. The latter school played every available hoy of of 9 years of ago and older, but could only raise 12 ; the match was therefore played 12 a side.

Cucksey made a most efficient and instructive referee. It is expected that a return match will be played at an early date. In the Country week tournoy at Auckland the Northern Wairoa team won the A grade and Hokianga secured premier position in the B. teams. The Auckland A team defeated the Country team on Saturday ly 30 points to 3: and in tho B match Auckland team bent the Couutry reni esentauves by 28 against 3.
