The visitor* to the battleship while in Auckland numbered over 90,000,. A return visit will be paid to Auckland on June 21st. for ten days prior to tlio New Zealand's departure for Vancouver.
A. lar»;e number of school children from Helensvillo, Te Pun, Woodhill and MuriWiU schools, also a Wain a contingent duly paid then- visit to Auckland to see the battleship, the special train being well patronised, A. keen interest was taken by the children 111 the great fighting-machine and their trip could not bo other than highly educational. There were numerous other attractive sights in the big city which received a share of their attention, and tendered to make the outing more enjoyable. The teachers and various members of the school committees who made the journey took a commendable interest in the children's welfare, and thero is no doubt but that many incidents of the visit to the great battleship were impressive and Avill remain long m meiiiory.
